Rachel Kroncke, DPT
Rachel grew up in Colorado, and has always enjoyed a sporty and active lifestyle. She attended Adams State College where she played as a member of the Women’s Basketball Team, while receiving her B.A. in Human Performance and Physical Education. Rachel developed an interest in physical therapy while rehabilitating from a reconstructive ankle surgery related to her own sports injuries. She continued on to Northern Arizona University where she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
Rachel’s background includes experience in personal training, coaching basketball, leading aquatic therapy for individuals with multiple sclerosis and arthritis, and working with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions. Her specialty interests include treatment and prevention of sports-related injuries, specifically of the foot and ankle, and obtaining a certification in manual therapy. Rachel emphasizes an individualized approach for each patient to include functional exercise, proper postural mechanics, and patient education to empower her patients in their own self-management. In her free time, Rachel enjoys traveling, playing a variety of sports, hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, and anything involving the great outdoors.
